My babies are due to hatch on the 29th and I just realized there probably hasn't been any humidity for at least 10 days! Do I stand a chance of any of them hatching? I thought my DH was taking care of it since he's not working. I'm so sad!!

It will depend on the humidity levels in your house.
Lately I have been pretty much doing a dry hatch...no air conditioning and pretty humid here.
Up it now and you may be just fine.

I'm sure you have added water now. Temperature seems to be more critical than humidity (especially early-on).

The humidity of the air in the room wherein the incubator sits will have an effect also.

I wouldn't count "dead" chicks before they hatch.

They seem to be pretty tough. The last few days (start now) the humidity should be around 60-65%.

I think you'll come out OK. The humidity in Michigan, where you live, is generally MUCH HIGHER than it would be out here on the High Plains Desert.

Good Luck ! (and don't fret!)
