Nob on newly hatched chick head!?

[Mill Chick]

I had to help this little silkie chick out of his/her shell partially because of shrink wrapping and came out most of the way and I noticed a large lump on his head! I googled around a bit and did not see anything like it. It is day 20 and all the other chicks have hatched except one other who is not yet ready to be helped out of her shell because she is also shrink wrapped. The chick is also acting little more tired than normal.

Of course! Also, I did forget to add but it is perfectly for chicks to be tired after hatching. It is a big event. You can supplement their water with poultry cell or nutridrench for a little boost as they start life. It helps give them a little kick.
