Noise clarification

Hi, we have a small holdings with a few roosters. There are no neighbours so they are in no way disturbing anyone. Unfortunately, there is a development being approved adjacent to our land for 40+ houses. My question is this....

Although we (and the roosters) were here first, will we have to adhere to the laws regarding keeping them from being a nuisance to the potential neighbours?

Does your zoning allow roosters? What is the wording of the noise/nuisance restrictions for your town/township/parrish/whatever-it-is called in your area?

A lot of variables. Zoning as mentioned above. Will zoning be changed because of the development? Will you be grandfathered, if so?

I would go ahead and get in contact with the local regulatory agencies to find out more.
