noises?

i have never had leghorns before but i just got a male and a female. their noises are earshattering and it sounds like they are dying whenever they speak to eachother. is this normal because it is just plain weird to me. also, the pair went into the coop and are making weird vibrating/ squawking sounds... does this that they are breeding? how do u tell if they are breeding?? thanks so much.
