Noisy 4 week old turkey

My little 4 week old turkey won't shut up. My husband calls the constant peeping or cheeping as a locator call. When we're not around its constantly doing the call and when we're in the room she will quiet down for a minute and starts up again. When we talk to her then she goes back into her quiet little peep mode. We figured she is actually wanting attention and to be outside of her bin, but when we let her outside she still goes into the constant calling even though we're with her. Its gotten so bad its driving me up the wall. When we have her outside she follows us around as if we're her parents. She's not alone we paired her with a little tom and she's still not satisfied. Does anyone have a sure fire method to quieting the constant peeping. Pulling out my hair over this. We have two older turkeys (2 months) that we raised from babies and we didn't have this kind of problem with them at all as well as the chickens we've been raising. HELP! Somebody!

He is lonely. You can put a mirror in with the poult so that the poult can see himself. If you have a small stuffed animal, you can put that in with the poult as well . Make sure that it doesn't have whistles, bells, buttons for eyes, etc. so that it would peck off and swallow. Make sure that it is "child choke proof". Good luck and keep us posted.
