Noisy hen

My 10 month old Sussex is sitting by the back door making the most awful racket, it's different to her "bawk-bawk BAWKET" egg bragging song, it more like "bu-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-UUUUUK" lol, she's been doing it for about an hour now, it's ridiculously loud, none of the other chooks are making any noise, none have laid today, can anybody tell me what's going on?

Some chickens are just noisy and talk more than others. I have this little Barred Rock Bantam that never shuts up when I'm in the coop just because she wants a treat.

I have a hen who occasionally makes a huge racket. Usually it is when something has startled her and put her on alert. Sometimes it is a squirrel too close to her dust bath area but other times I am mystified as to the cause. She just stands and stares out between my house and the neighbors making weird noises. Food usually provides a good distraction but even that can be a temporary fix if they are really riled up.
