For the past few days, Blue, who has been a mostly quiet duck for at least a month now has started to walk around and quietly quick, a lot. Not loud, but earlier this week when it was quite warm, she was panting and since then, has been doing this quiet quack a lot. It's like her mouth is always open to quack and if she isn't quacking, it looks like she is about to.
Then for the last 2 days, she's been walking around with her head ducked down and moving it all around. I'll try to get pics or video tomorrow if I'm not working (or I'll get it when I get home).
She can stand up tall and have a tall neck like normal, but she's not really doing it very much at all. DH even noticed it tonight and asked about it.
It's almost like she's doing a little ducky dance to everything that moves (or not), but not quite. It's not the normal head bob they had been doing.

If it isn't normal, what the heck is she doing and how do I fix it (do I need to?)

mine do it too just started a few weeks ago. it almost looks like they are injured, but they aren't i think they are just flirting 2 of mine have been doing. along with the extra quacking. maybe it a sign spring is coming.

Hopefully, it's just a flirty thing. I've been noticing a lot of weird head jerks and positions from the ducks lately. Some will make a really low-pitched chatter while they do it, too.

Used DH's camera to get video. Guess I didn't click the button the first time - before the discovered the "river" through our yard from the rain last night and drizzle this morning and made a run for it, but it does show a little bit of it before she discovers the leftover snacks on the cutting board.
We're looking at Blue (the white one with the blue bill)
