After searching the web and this site for info on rules regarding chickens in North Attleboro, I finally called the town clerk->zoning board. In my zone (R40), backyard chickens are allowed, but their coop must be at least 40' from the front property line, 20' from side, and 40' from rear. I was told to call the building inspector for more information (508-699-0110).
