Golly, how many and what ages do you need me re-home?I don’t have any bantams, but I do have a whole flock that needs a good home (or homes) if you happen to know of anyone. I’d be happy to drive them down to NC.

I wish I could help you; they are beautiful roosters!Apologies, I originally posted this in the wrong forum so if you’re seeing it twice - I owe you a Pepsi!
Oh my gosh, TOO MANY ROOSTERS! HELP!
I’m a relatively new chicken owner (inherited a small flock a few years ago) and I grossly underestimated the sneakiness of hens to build up a clutch in a completely inaccessible place that you don’t find until too far into brooding to feel ok about throwing out the eggs…. So now I have roosters. A lot of roosters. And my ratio is way, way, way off. My hens are really suffering at this point and some of the roosters GOT TO GO.
I’m quite fond of the roosters except for their tendency to rile each other up and go after one poor hen or another… ugh. But otherwise they’re quite nice. Some are friendlier than others but none aggressive towards adults or children. Okay, one has pecked my shoe a couple times when I’m messing with a hen but no real intent there. They’re also absolutely beautiful. Mostly a mix of Easter Egger (sneaky mom), silkie, and bantam Minorca, with a few whose mom was probably either silkie or bantam Australorp.
Obviously I’m fond of these fellas but they need new homes. Anyone interested in one or two? I’m in Smithfield, NC and willing to help transport etc if needed!
Pics of some/most of the boys:

How is she doing? Did you get to rehome her?So glad I found this thread! Something got my girls yesterday and I’m only left with one. I don’t think I am ready to take on more chickens because this absolutely devastated me. I don’t want Matilda (the only survivor) to be by herself so I need to rehome her quickly. She’s about 5 years old and as sweet as can be, but tends to be lower on the pecking order so needs a lot of supervision initially. I’d love someone with experience in adding new grown girls to flocks so that she doesn’t just get thrown in and beaten up.She was given to me as a pullet, so not sure of her breed, but likely an Easter egg as she lays light green eggs. Please let me know if anyone is willing to take her. She’s free range so likely wouldn’t do well cooped up. I absolutely do not want her to go to a home where she will be turned into dinner. I’m in the Raleigh area. Please let me know if you are willing to take her!

Ok, I like the rules idea. I may have this moved to a different forum (unless everything here has been free) and make a new thread with clearer guidelines. Do you think any other states would appreciate a rehoming thread?I think this is a great idea - thank you! But maybe have a few guidelines like posters must add location, ages, breeds etc. Otherwise, it's not as helpful.
I'm in Watauga County NC (NW corner of state) so also very close to TN. I have a few extras. Just turned 4 weeks old. French Cuckoo Marans with feathered feet! Gorgeously sweet Black Australorpes. All vaccinated for Marek's.
Would prefer pickup at our farm. PM me for details.View attachment 4164678
I'm sure they would! I think it should be free & classifieds. The classifieds are so large that I rarely look there because nearly all the posts are so far from me.Ok, I like the rules idea.
