I am going to be thinning my flock of old, non-productive birds. I am wondering if anyone in the area has eggs in the incubator - or is thinking of setting some for sale.
I would like to get a breed that lays decent and is a large fowl breed. I would love to get some Buckeyes, Barred Rock, or Buff Orpington. Those are just breeds off the top of my head. I am not expecting to get a bird that will lay 6 days a week like the brown layer that I have now, but I would like to have a prettier flock.
Let me know what you have and how much you like them for a backyard flock!
