Hi - I live east of San Francisco. Got 6 chicks in August, one died

but the rest are thriving. 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks and 2 Australorps. First egg delivered the day after Christmas and they've been going strong ever since.
I never thought I could love chickens so much!
