I've been battling mites for a while now. I'm pretty sure they're Northern Fowl mites since they stay on my poor kiddos during the day. They will move from the chickens to me when my sweeties sit on my shoulders and lap. I'm treating their house with permethrin (spray and powder) and them with Eprinex. I've read that the dosage is .25 ml for bantams and .5 ml for standards, and that retreatment should happen ten days after the first. I've also read that the life cycle for this type of mite is shorter than Red mites, something like five to seven days. How often do I treat them for Northern Fowl mites with Eprinex, then? Every five days? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Are you seeing any white clumps of eggs at the base of feathers, especially under the vent? That could be lice. Lice mive fast while mites are slower moving. Mites have to be treated every 7 days at least twice, while lice should be treated every 10 days. I would do a third treatment with permethrin. You can use the permethrin dust or spray on the chickens instead of ivermectin. Ivermectin dosage is 1 ml for every 2 pounds of weight, given once and repeated in 14 days. So don’t follow the 7-10 day retreatment, but retreat at 14 days. There is a long egg withdrawal as well, since it is not approved for chickens. Here are some good articles:
