It seems according to most people that my 4 month-old roo is not a broiler. It's very large (at around 10-12 lbs), but tall and not fat. He's been on restricted feeding all this time though. Some people think he's a White Jersey Giant but I don't think JGs have yellow legs. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

isn't a broiler a white rock and white cornish cross?
he is not tall because of the cornish and not fat because of the restricted diet.
he looks very muscular in that first picture and 10lbs @ 4 months,i say broiler.

white giants have willow colored legs ,i think.

He's probably a White Rock cross. Cornish X's are not actually a direct cross of Cornish and Rock, in fact the "recipe" is a corporate "secret."

He looks like mine! I am calling them cornish X because I have no idea what they are. Brolier birds of some nature. Although mine have also been on restricted diet and seem bigger than yours. SO maybe he's a white rock or cross!
