Yesterday i finally had a turkey egg hatch then another 20 min later. i went outside to do a little work. came back in after 30 min and the first turkey that hatched was floating in some water i had in the side of screen. It slipped through a 1/2 inch gap that i didnt cover. I grabbed it and started rubbing the chest then i blew in its mouth watching the chest rise then pushing on the chest. It started the gasp for air so I kept rubbing the chest but it stopped gasping. I kept trying for 15 min but that was it. It stopped all movement. I was truly sad because I thought about covering up the gap but i was I guess lazy with it.
