But totally DaddyDuck related! And you all are my "duck family" so I have to share.

Sorry... have to brag on DaddyDuck James. James has earned three new records in one day. Yesterday he became the first person ever to swim almost 8 miles across the San Luis Reservoir, one of the largest reservoirs in the US. It took him a little over 5 hours to complete. By being the first, he also earned the titles of "Youngest ever" and "fastest crossing". This swim also qualified him to be an official, on the books, legit marathon swimmer.... something that is pretty rare for a child!

I have seen the San Louis reservoir several times from a plane approaching San Jose airport. It is huge! Always wanted to drive there, never had the time to do so. The furthest i got south was state highway 130 - beautiful drive in spring!
Congratulations James! You are the proven flock leader of the super-ducks.

Again I am going to say Chuck & Buck are the coolest. They passed that on to their human man. Good job swimming.

Thanks. So much fun but so tiring. I'm so sunburnt despite reapplying every 30 minutes. Even my armpits are burnt.

But he is just on cloud 9. He did not think he was going to make it. Lots of sweat and tears put into that swim.
