See the ugly wart growth on this pullets foot? It is firmly attached. Finally caught her today and got a photo.

I would soak her foot for at least 20 minutes in soapy water and see if it comes off. Looks like dried poop which can stick like cement

It's not poop. It started out small and gradually grew this size over 2 weeks. I'll catch her tonight and do a double wash. Soap and then epson salt cleanse. Then I can get another picture. When you feel it it seems to have cracks around in it like a wart.

Then it could be a lesion and the crust just a scab?

Does it seem to hurt her or make walking difficult?

I wonder if, after cleaning, you could try a bandaid, soaked in colloidal silver? Let's see if anyone else weighs in on this idea, though.

If you do, I'd check it daily and replace with a new, medicated bandage. That stuff is pretty great. I use it on myself, and have used it on my dogs.

I had though about Blues Star ointment also. Afraid to use Compound W. Waiting to see if anymore ideas come. Thank you.

If it's definitely a wart, go with compound W it won't hurt her. Remember to reapply the solution since you can't place a bandaid over it. You'll need a blowdry to dry the solution to remove the fumes from it.
