Chick is 4 weeks old or so. Came from the TSC bantum bin.

Legs are thick but not a fast grower like the Cornish crosses/white meat birds. What other meat birds are there?

I think your correct. I looked up some pics of the breed. The actual WLRC is a slow grower.
