Not drinking

Where I live the temperatures are getting into the upper to middle 90's and my one hen hasn't drank any water today and she drinks very little throughout the day. It would be great if someone could help!

How do you know your hen is not drinking? What water system are you use? Can I see pictures of your chicken coop and run? Does she seem sick? We need some more information.

Hi! If she isnt drinking on her own, maybe try to lure her to drink! I would suggest putting something she likes to eat in her water and make sure it floats! Works a charm for my chickens! They love ginger so i grate it up and sprinkle it over their water! You should look if she is behaving strangely as it may be a sign of illness. If so, immediately isolate her to prevent the flock from getting infected. She may be overheating. Give her lots of shaded, cool areas.

Thank you so much! She hasn't been acting strange but their coop does get very hot during the day even though it is in shade. I just put a fan out there and it seems to be working good. I will definately be trying this!! Thanks!
