I have 8 gold sex link pullets, they are around 16 weeks old (i think). Recently switched to finisher feed and they don't seem to be interested in it. Was wondering if it's time to switch to layer pellets. They haven't started laying yet, is it possible that the reason they aren't eating because they might start laying soon. This is the first time I've raised chickens so any help will be appreciated. Thank you in advance

Welcome! Don't switch to layer until they are in lay. I feed Flock Raiser from babyhood to laying, and when there are chicks in the flock, everyone eats it with oyster shell on the side. Maybe the change in feed upset them, so either see if they decide it's fine, or go back to the grower you were feeding. Mary
