not enough nesting boxes?

Okay I have two silkies each happily sitting on seven eggs.

However, I only have two nesting boxes, and my other girls are ticked that they don't have a place to lay their eggs. I put in a third nesting box with some fake eggs, so I'm hoping the others get the hint. Somehow I thought two nesting boxes for six hens would be enough. Wrong, at least when you have two silkies that are crazy about hatching at the same time.

Any suggestions folks?

Why don't you move one of the silkies, into the 3rd box

The funny thing is I found a leghorn egg on the back of one of my silkies this afternnon. Guess she didn't care if there was room or not!
