Not going on roost

My hens are 18weeks old but they won't go on their roost any advice on how to get them roosting?

Are they sleeping in their nesting box instead? I had to block my nesting boxes off so they wouldn't sleep in them and that forced them to sleep in their roosting area. They didn't like it at first but they got over it!

mine are not that old yet but they are starting to learn where the roost are. Had one last night that scared me for she was on the ledge of the door. I go out at night after dark and put mine on the roost, little by little they get it.
