I have a white leghorn that went broody about 4 months ago. I let her just go through it without putting her in solitary confinement. I would take her out of the nest and let her out with the other girls (2 RIR and another white leghorn). She finally seemed to come around and started laying again. Now she has stopped....not broody....just not laying. Her comb is smaller than the other leghorn. I live in Illinois and the weather has been nasty, but the other girls seem to be laying fine. Any thoughts?
