Not laying in nest boxes

My chickens layed for the first time today. I found 2 eggs on the ground and only one in the box. Will they eventually adapt to the boxes?

Since you have one already using the box, the other ones will probably use it too.

Put a plastic egg in the nestbox to show them where to "Git er done" Golf ball works too.

My first egg last weekend was on the floor, but the rest have been in the nest box. I have also found that the other starting to lay hens are using the same box and have laid their eggs in there also. I say try the golf ball or plastic egg trick. They'll catch on.
