What breeds are your pullets? 18 weeks is the minimum for productive breeds to start laying. Many don't start laying until 20-28 weeks. Also, where in the world are you located? If you are in the northern hemisphere, decreasing daylight hours will mean less eggs. It's also possible your birds are going through a molt.

I'm not surprised they haven't started laying yet then. I read Isa Browns start around 6 months. You'll know they're close when their combs get bright red and they start checking out the nest boxes more. Depending on your location, the shortened days may also play a factor on a delay.Isa brown
