So I added my texas a&ms in with the 2 coturnix I have. They are a pair that hatched together and follow each other all around the pen. Luckily he hasn't driven her crazy while waiting for the 4 A&Ms to mature. So the coturnix laid exactly at 6weeks. I have one A&M laying. They are 7wk...One of the A&Ms turned out to be a male. The other 2 nothing...
I have only seen my male coturnix mate with the coturnix. He doesn't even acknowledge the other quails lol!! But the A&Ms just hang amd aren't doing any laying, mating, nothing??? They eat and drink fine...thoughts???
