Hi everyone!
I'm not new and usually I'm a quiet reader. I had introduced myself before however, I did not have chickens at the time and was using the forum to learn. My family and I have recently relocated from Central Florida to Southern Virginia and I now have my very first flock! My kids and I are so excited to finally be part of the chicken keeping community. Two of my hens have just started laying last week. I have a few questions, but I'm not sure if the introductions section is the proper place to ask them. Any help and advice would be a blessing! Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Thank you guys so much! First question is about my rooster/cockeral. I bought my chickens from tractor supply. My daughter worked there and got a pretty decent discount and well chicken math LOL! I have 19 girls and one rooster/cockeral. The first 8 are right at 18 weeks this week. Some are 17 weeks and some are 16 weeks.
I purchased what I thought were all pullets, but as typical with TSC, we ended up with a male. Thankfully I'm in an area that allows roosters because we love him to bits! His name is Billie. He was sold to us as a Crested Cream Legbar. As were three others with him. But only one of them looks like a crested cream legbar. I'm going to attach some photos so you guys can see. Maybe you can help me figure out what he is and what the girls are? A little more detail about him, he is huge! LOL he comes up to my knee when he stands fully erect. He has yellow legs and feet. His legs and feet are clean. He has a six-pointed comb and there appears to be a little Stripes all over him. There is a photo here of one of the girls. She has a what appears to be black feathers on her tail but she's very reddish in coloration. She also just began laying Olive colored eggs. Thanks so much ahead of time!🥰🐓

I think you have some hybrids. Olive eggers made by crossing crested cream legbars with a dark egger, possibly welsummers.
