Not new to chooks but been a while. Decided on 10 as we have opened a new BnB in Scotland. I do have a question about giving chicken rain water?

I don't collect rain water but my chickens do, they drink from every mud puddle they come to.

The only problem with rainwater that I can think of is if it runs over a surface where it could pick up lead or other contaminants, or if the rain barrel itself allows mold or bugs to grow. It doesn't look like you have either problem.
