In pasadena, (or anywhere for that matter) are australian scrub turkeys legal? They technically are not turkeys, or any other kind of poultry bird or associated with farming.

I can't answer your question but I have to say I want one. Those are pretty cool looking. I have never even heard of them before but if they are legal to have in this country I sure would like to know where to get a pair. Hopefully someone will chime in with a good answer.

They are pretty cool. I'd think they would run off if you tried free ranging them though. They don't act like poultry birds. :]
 
Have you ever seen one in person? Do you know if they are here in the US or can be brought into the US? I guess anything can be brought in if you have enough money.
 
Im attempting to find a breeder. Australia has pretty much totally stopped exporting animals.
