Not red comb wattles- maybe a hen still?

One of my little ones has been in the hot seat with gender questions for weeks now. Sir Coco had her comb and wattles start to develop by about 7 weeks. A month later and they are definitely larger than her follow flock mates, but they are still very light colored. Would a rooster's comb and wattle change from pale to red by now? 4 weeks ago 3 weeks ago

I'm with Toddrick. What makes you feel this is definitely a roo?

Probably because that's a lot of comb and wattles for an 11 week old chicken.
What breed is it? Some of my Leghorn pullets develop large, red combs and wattles about this time, but they're a pretty fast maturing breed and I sort of expect it from them.

My guess would be cockerel as well, based on its comb and wattles. Also, it might help if we can see a full body shot of the bird at its current age

I assume that also, I just prefer people explain their reasoning to help educate everyone, including myself. Maybe there is another sign that made Enola more confident. I've been burned a couple times in guessing on certain fast growing breeds. I don't know what breed this is. It does look like a cockerel, but it seems like a very slow developing one (or a fast growing hen). A side body image would definitely help.

I will see if I can go bribe Sir Coco into letting me take her photo with some meal worms. After a bout of poultry lice and the three week regimen for treating them, they don't like me all that much when I am in the run. As to the breed, your guess is as good as mine. I was told she was a black copper maran, but that's not appearing to be true. With the rain, I don't know that I will be able to get a good shot of her current feathering colors. I do know that she had BCM and Leghorns (and a bunch of others) on the property and if this one is a mix of something, who knows what the comb will be like.

Forget meal worms, blueberries were the way to go with this lot.

It has white earlobes, so I guess it must be a BCM x Leghorn heh.

I really can't see any hackle feathers, but the black may hide them (*if the neck feathers are thin and pointy, stringy, it is a male for sure*). The wing carriage and general posture appear to me to be like a pullet. The tail appears to be taking the form of the Leghorn, and since I'm not familiar with Leghorns or BCM's I can't really use that as a guide.

I'm still on the fence and waiting for some experts.
