At least I hope Im learning!
I got my pine instead of hay, got the babies some starter grit, meal worms, starting to add fruits/veggies/grass slowly. One of my older chicks tackled her first worm the other day I was so proud! lol. I just went and got my " dusting bath bucket" for the bigger chicks for outside, got sand, DE, and wood ashes. Learned that both DE and wood ash helps keep mites away. Boy did my kids get funny looks while digging thru fire pits yesterday at our local campground..;) lol.. Oh what we do for our chicks!! All of my girls are healthy, growing well and such characters!

Congrats!
It is such a learning curve.
