Not sure what to do....

Hello all...I have a brown leghorn who was newly laying about 2 moths ago then she started limping...her leg feels normal, she was separated and then started matriculating back into the flock though she was getting pecked too much and I think any progress was lost. She's again separated but where she's still near the flock, she's eating, crop empties overnight and fills again the next day. The entire flock was treated with premetherine 10 about 2-3 weeks ago as we suspected mites. She doesn't seem to be improving much. I've been using Hydro-Hen in her water and today changed to poultry cell as now she's appearing weak and her ,balance is off. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Pic taken a few minutes ago when she was out to eat some grass. Thanks in advance for the help.

She is looking rough.

I would try a human B complex tablet and a vitamin E capsule.
Put them in her beak and make her swallow them. I direct dose whenever possible because you don't know how much vitamin or medication they actually get if you put it in their water. Her comb looks like she is dehydrated so she may not be drinking much.

How does her poop look? How old is she?

Thank you for responding....yes..she's definitely declining. we got her in March, so about 8 months....would poultry cell be good if I give it to her via syringe? Her poop looks normal...although due to her legs, now legs , I've had to clean her everyday...and I also had used Bluekote on her head as they pecked her. Pic of her the day before she started limping.

Ty...no...we've treated for mites...haven't seen worms in her poop. She started laying September 20th....and stopped around October 10th ish as the first couple days after her injury to her leg she still laid. A couple of her eggs were VERY big for her size too... literally overnight from the last pic I posted, the next morning she was limping.

Her poop looks normal brown/tan with the white cap..after i clean the mess from her pooing while shes laying in the floor....Oh...her diet is layer pellets..and I give them layer mash...as a snack they get black seeds and corn crumble.

I'd get some Extra Calcium into her. Give her 1 calcium citrate+D3 tablet once daily for a week.

Get some vitamins into her as well. She was pecked on the head and is having some balance issues. I'd go to Walmart, CVS, etc. and get a bottle of Vitamin E (400IU) and B-Complex. You can pick up the Calcium Citrate+D3 there too.
Give 1 whole Vitamin E gel capsule daily along with 1/4 tablet B-Complex.

See that she's drinking well and eating. Giving her a bit of extra protein a few times week would be good too. Egg, fish, etc.

Hopefully she will rally for you, she's quite young, but she may also be suffering from a reproductive disorder or disease like Marek's. If you lose her and want to find out the cause of decline, sending the body to your State Lab will give you the best information.

Thank you for the input. Yes.. we saw them and treated the whole flock. It's all quite sad. I will try these added vitamins. We weren't prepared for all this...only been doing it 2 years now so it's all much appreciated.
