Not sure what to make of this

I discovered what seems to be an embryo in the egg laying room. It’s disheartening whatever it may be but hoping I don’t have a sick chicken. Can anyone identify this. Sorry for the mess all over it.

Do an on site search on 'lash egg'. I believe that is what you are dealing with.

Im not sure how this cut and paste will come out but it does look like a lash egg. I have never had one so know pretty much nothing. Good luck and please post your follow up.

That thing(don't think it's an embryo) needs further dissection.
Cut it in half, or more, to see what's inside, then take more pics.
Could very well be lash material.
