I have read that before and am not positive where it is but it may be a warning that you see when you are uploading pictures. The ethics of posting images of photos that do not belong to you is to first get permission from the owner of the pictures and give credit to the owner. If you post images that are not yours without having permission and giving credit to the owner of the pictures, it is considered stealing.
Alot of pictures on the net are in the public domain. Those that are copy right, you do have to ask for permission to use. I see pictures of my birds all the time on the net....but I don't copy right my pictures. They get them off the various forums I post to...I guess I need to start putting my name on the pics.
