I was given what I was told were 4 pullets with there Momma, all silver-laced Wyandottes. Im not sure how many weeks only that "they should start laying any day now"

Not very helpful. My question is now that I've had them about a month (the pullets in particular) could I possibly have some roosters instead since 2 seem to be growing there wattles faster & I think look slightly bigger?? Only 1 will let me near her & im working on the others. I can try to get some pictures if that would help. I just discovered through reading that the Wyandotte comb wont stand up like other breeds. The ones with noticeable faster growth also have a little darker comb on the head along with the noticeable growth in wattles. Any suggestions would be helpful.

My wyandottes didn't start to lay eggs untill they were 6 months old. When they got closer to lay, their combs and wattles got redder. Hope that helps.

maybe that is what is happening, I did get 1 small brown egg yesterday but have no way of knowing who laid it
