This is Steve. He/she is supposed to be a Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock. But, what do you think?

Pretty much the opposite of a SP Rock! Looks like a Silver Spangled Hamburg pullet to me, will lay mice white eggs for you!

Oh thanks! That makes sense. The place that she came from does sell those chicks as well. My father bought them for me, and he thought they were silver penciled rocks, but he couldn't remember what the lady at the hatchery said.

Thanks for the reply. Steve is a very nice bird. Calm, and gets along great with the others. I was hoping she was a she! I had 3, but this is the only one that made it. I don't know anything about this breed, so I am off to do some reading.
