One of my hens has really dry skin on her face (the red part). Like a molting reptile.

She got sick (I think, she just suddenly wasn't nearly as good looking as she was a few days earlier) back like in may. Not quite sure what happened, we know her tail got broken but no one else got I'll in her flock so we aren't sure. We do know however she stopped laying them and hasn't started again since then.

Anyways, tonight I noticed she had super bad skin. Just curious if anyone has seen something like this before

I'll post pictures tomorroq, they didn't save and it's too late to go back out tonight

Post some photos when you can.

If it's just dry skin, then I would apply a small amount of vaseline.

If it's due to a skin issue like Favus, then you would want to use an anti-fungal cream (athlete's foot cream).

This is the best I got today. All the grey on her face though is the dry skin
