Nova Scotia Newbie

Hello all!

I have been pouring over the resources here and decided to join! I’m from Nova Scotia and have already learned so much from the posts here.

I am new to chickens and do not have them yet. Getting a used playset to convert to a coop and run this week. I have zero experience in building anything but when I put my mind to something I can certainly get it done!

We have slightly over an acre bordering a heavily wooded area and lot’s of predators - bears, coyotes, ermine/weasel, raccoons, bobcats so I know we will need a very secure coop and lots of ventilation .
