Now another ? on Silkies (combs)

I got a good look at his comb a little while ago and now I am thinking it may be a walnut comb. It is kinda bumpy all over the comb and in the middle it is slightly higher than the edgeds. Is this what I should expect from a 2 1/2 month old? Thanks
