I have officially slipped off the edge of sanity. I have 2 incubators I like to use. I have the Brinsea Mini (7 eggs) and the brinsea that holds about 20 eggs. Well I ordered eggs from cowgirl 75446 and mamawolf544. (I highly recommend both sellers). Then my son asked if I would set some of his antique but much loved easter egger rooster over my ameraucana hen eggs. So now I have also hooked up the hated little giant that I sometimes use for a hatcher cuz I have eggs EVERYWHERE. I have all three incubators in the living room. Our house is very small-I like to say cozy.I don't even know how to fill the water tray in the LG with the turner in there if anybody has any advice. Did I mention the babies I just hatched out that live in a brooder in the kitchen?

LOL Sounds like you have your hands full. Hatching out chicks can be an addiction being able to say you brought life into the world during a successful hatch. You are going to be busy. I do not know of the incubators you are using and the LG must have a tray at the bottom somewhere... keep digging.
I build my own incubators and try to out do myself every year as to successful hatches. Last year was a slow one for me with all the hospital trips due to Cancer but I did manage close to 300. I kept ten and sold the rest. A little side business I have to supply some of the locals here.
This year I am using a stereo cabinet with a window I salvaged from an old house, foam weatherstripping for the air tight seal, computer power supply for my internal fans, digital meat thermometer for temps, brooder bulb for the heat source and a dimmer switch to control the temps. Oh yeah and a 42 egg automatic turner I have had for years. Total cost $0.00. I luv being a McGyver when it comes to these little projects... Steve

We have to open it for refill and pour it in, some ppl use a squirt bottle and fill it that way. but there is about a 2 inch gap between left and right side of turner. Have even seen one with a short hose thru the vent and a squeeze bottle, but i'm not very innovative so open and pour is good enough for me.

I had the same problems and when I would open the top to refill the tray it would cause problems with temp fluctuations. Now what I do is remove the cent plug at the front and just pour the water through that. It doesn't hit my heating element and i just leave the egg space directly under the plug empty, but you could use it becaue it is a bit off to the side. This has worked beautifully for me. I do however have a forced air fan kit so I don't know if it would work as well in a still air Bator.
