Hello, all. I've been wanting to be able to ship hatching eggs and chicks for a while now and have been researching NPIP testing. It is my understanding that they must test every bird you have, right? Also if they find an infected bird, they kill it? I am confused as to whether you can ask for individual birds to get tested or if they test them all, and also whether or not you may deal with the bird on your own. I would have a few choice words for someone who tried to force me to kill my chicken or took matters into their own hands. I'm a bit confused on what happens when someone tests for NPIP in Oklahoma. Could someone clarify this stuff for me?

Thanks,
Ryan

Well I Just went thru testing in May. Everyone tested clean so I did not have to address the issue of what happens when there is a positive test. If you want more information call Sherry at (405) 522-6139.
