NR360 Test run?

Before I put hatching eggs into my new Nurture Right 360, I’m thinking about doing a test run to make sure everything is working right.

what should I be watching for abs how long should I test the incubator?

I ran mine for 24 hours before putting eggs in to make sure temp and humidity were stable and accurate. It helps to have a calibrated thermometer and hygrometer separate from the built in ones to verify.

If you want to be sure sure, my advice is to run it a week before you plan to put eggs in there, give or take a day. That'll give some time for any quirks or manufacturing defects to show up. And definitely use a separate thermometer and hygrometer to verify what the built in ones say...even if they're accurate, if they're only reading from one side for instance, it won't tell you if one side is running hot or cold.

Depending on what you bought they probably still need to be testesed/calibrated.
