Nuben/Pigmy in labor

I have a Nigerian/pigmy doe that is showing strong signs of kidding her sides are sunk in her ligaments are very relaxed and her utter seems to be getting bigger though not tight and shiny as I have read it should be. she has had mucous discharge but none at the moment can anyone give me advice to help me out this is the does first pregnancy and my first time as well

It sounds like your doe is getting ready to kid but is not yet in labor. Not all, and probably not even most, udders get bright and shiny before kidding. When she goes into labor, she will be restless, will paw, and lie down and get up. As labor progresses you will see signs of straining. There will usually be a mucus string. It is a good thing to be on hand when the kids are born to make sure the sac ruptures and the membranes are off the nose so the kid can breathe.

Thank you she has started talking to her babies and nesting so I don't think it will be to much longer now.
