Nubian vs Nigerian

Other than the amount of milk difference which do you prefer and why? We are a family of 6 but only go through about a gallon ever two to three days, of milk. So what would I do with all the extra? Also, I have tasted Nubian milk and I like it. Now, we drink 2% milk from the store and I worry if milk is to thick my kids won't drink it. Is Nigerian milk very thick? Thanks

One difference. . Size of the handles! Do yourself a favor and don't get a Doe that belongs to the itty bitty Club. Life is too short to milk goats with tiny teats. as for extra. .. Make cheese! Soap doesn't use up much milk really.... Unless you have a business, it won't help the milk over flow. Another option is get a pig or bottle calf and feed them out. The best part about a pig is you can keep feeding it milk to Butcher. Calves you have to keep feeding or sell, lol.
