Will an older chick take care of a younger or sick chick?
I have a three week old chick and five 1 week old chicks. One of my babies has a bad leg and is much tinier than the others. It seems as though the older chick is playing nurse to the baby. She seems very protective and she sits on the baby. Is this normal, or will she hurt the baby?
