I was wondering if nutmeg harmed chickens in any way because I was thinking if it 2 old him them if I put some in their nesting boxes with the herbs.
If the nutmeg doesn't harm them then does it have any use such as deters mice or insects/helps with respiratory health etc.?

So I guess they can't have it? Or it doesn't have any use in the coop?

If you're sprinkling it in the nest boxes, I don't think it could hurt but I also don't think what benefit it would have.

Nutmeg can be dangerous and even psychotropic for humans if too much is ingested so I would not feed it to chickens.
