Nutrena Naturewise All Flock vs Purina Flock Raiser

Hi there - a very interesting question, so I googled! Both brands are owned by the same company- Cargill.
From what I read, I really don't see much difference between the two. On a personal note, I use Nutrena feather fixer for my flock. After I started using it I noticed a definite improvement in feather sheen.

I use Purina Flock Raiser, which also comes in pellets. It's 20% protein and it seems to get the hens through the molt faster. Some are even continuing to lay while molting, which didn't happen in previous years when I kept them on layer feed (16% protein).

I haven't used the NatureWise All Flock, but did notice from the label that it has less protein (18%) than the Purina Flock Raiser (20%).

Where do you buy the Flock Raiser in pellets at? I've checked Purinas website and have only seen it offered in crumbles.

I get it at my local feed store (E&L Supply) in Spring Mills, PA. Check with your feed store. If they carry Purina products, it's very likely they can order the pellets for you.

I thought I would update this thread. I think at one time Nutrena Naturewise all flock pellets were 18% protein but I have been buying it since the feed store down the road sold and now they only carry an off brand of feed which don't have it in higher protein and I hate changing feed. Here the Nutrena Naturewise all flock pellets I have been buying are 20%. It does come in 40# bags instead of 50#. I go through a lot of feed. The Purina Flock Raiser 20% protein only comes in crumbles around here. I went to their website and it appears it is also available in pellets too.
