Nutrition-Alfalfa?

Hi, I am currently writing a research report about the different feed supplements given to hens to produce better egg quality.
Does anybody on here feed their hens alfalfa? If so do you find their eggs produce a deep orange colour yolk?

I have an angora rabbit that lives in a hutch built into the corner of my coup. My hens LOVE the alfalfa hay I keep for the rabbit, and yes, their egg yolks are very bright orange. Didn't know what was causing it before, but it could be the hay. The eggs seem to taste better too.

The bright orange yolk is most likely caused by the alfalfa, its because alfalfa is a natural source of pigment causing the deep orange colour yolks

Yes and yes. I use alfalfa in my "flock block" and they love it.
