Nutritional content of eggs from free range chickens?

I've been searching the web for this info and can't find out how much protein and how many calories are in a large size egg from a well- maintained chicken.

Mother Earth News gives great info on fats, cholesterol, vitamins, minerals, etc., but no info on protein &/or calories.

Anybody know?

The Mother Earth News article is by far the best and most informative I've read. From what I understand, the protein and calories are the same. It's the other vitamins like beta carotene that are different.

But I still don't know how much protein & calories are in a large egg (even a commercial egg).

Make it even harder: protein & calories in an extra-large egg.

Anybody know?

Ok; I found the answer. 85 calories & 7 grams of protein in an extra large egg.

Hm. I get different numbers. My calorie counting app for my phone says 75 or 70 calories for a large egg, but it's based on weight.

At first I was thrown off by the second link, but there's a dropdown menu that you change to what quantity egg product.

I say base it on the lower number.
