Nutritional yeast

New duck owner here...I am reading that nutritional yeast is better than the brewer's yeast... higher in niacin. Anyone know of a site or store I can buy some? I live in D'iberville, MS.

I would check your local health food stores and supermarkets. Many websites sell nutritional yeast too.

Pekin, Khaki Campbell, Orpington Buff, and Blue Swedish, however my Blue Swedish just passed. She was sick and couldn't eat, therefore, I saw all the signs of Niacin deficiency. It was horrible, just 2 weeks old. Hence, my post for my other girls. Oh, and I bought this...

I love those breeds! I am sorry about your Swedish. Looks like a good deal for 16oz of nutritional yeast! Good luck with the niacin. I recommend peas too. Ducks love them and they are high in niacin.

Nutritional yeast is sold in most major grocery stores. I buy tons of that stuff for myself... it’s my Frank’s Red Hot - I put that sh*t on everything!

I couldn't find the brewers yeast at the health food store. The clerk told me that it was just called nutritional yeast now and took me to it. And some brands make a nutritional yeast that is more of a seasoning (spice aisle type thing). So yeah, confusing.
