NW Georgia Poultry Club Fall Double Show

Thank Heavens I'm not showing (NOT a morning person!)

9:00 I can do. (Even though it means getting up at 6:00 *gasp*). I'm a writer, and if I see sunrise, it means I've stayed at it too long and it's time to go to bed! I rarely make it to sleep before the wee hours.

See y'all there, good Lord willin' and the creeks don't rise (which doesn't seem likely since we have had almost no rain since the tornadoes in April.)

The State of Georgia will require the birds to be tested the day of the show. We will have a tester at the show on Saturday.

Just re-read all of the posts; didn't see my question asked, so here goes: if you're coming from out of state (NC) to show birds, will you be allowed to sell birds outside of the show building?

Thanks for everyone who came out and supported our club show this weekend. We had 700 birds entered!

We had a wonderful time. Weren't exhibitors this year, but definitely will be next time (when IS the next one?) Is there a mailing list we could get on? I'm having a terrible time finding out about shows until afterwards.

We added to our little flock and were very pleased with the quality of the birds we saw for sale and entered in the show. It was a wunnerful day.

Hi all...it was a LONG 7 hour trip, but certainly worth it. Great show!! Enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

We had our best black hen come down with botulism during our trip (apparently sometime between 8:00 pm Friday night and 6:00 am Sat. morning) and thought we would certainly loose her. I'm happy to report that she survived and is now just starting to walk a little bit again!! Of course, we pulled her from the show and were absolutely bummed about it, but her survival is much more important!!

Thanks to everyone who was involved in putting on the show and to the two judges.
